great access to beach and local attractions for weekend explorers

i really enjoyed the short walk to Platja de la Cala Crancs, just about 500 meters from the hotel, perfect for my city strolls and soaking up the sun. Having a variety of dining options like Route 66 just steps away made evenings fun and convenient.

hotel best offered a nice location, just a short walk to the beach. the recently renovated spa area, with its heated pool and sauna, was a lovely touch for relaxation. the kids enjoyed the entertainment activities, making our family stay even more enjoyable.

the food could use more variety.

The dining options catered mainly to international tastes and lacked variety, particularly for children, which could be a letdown given the number of families staying there. the entertainment tended to skew towards the local crowd, possibly leaving non-Spanish guests feeling a bit overlooked.

Spent 7 nights at the Quadruple Room in Hotel Best. The check-in process was straightforward, and the staff greeted me warmly. The beach is just a short stroll away, perfect for morning walks. I loved the water park. It’s fantastic for kids, with plenty of slides and play areas to keep them entertained. The indoor pool, however, felt crowded and could use better cleaning. Our room was spacious with a large balcony, but extra coat hangers would have been helpful for our family. Breakfast featured fresh options like pastries, but it became repetitive, lacking variety over the week. Dinner had themed nights, but the queues were long, especially on busy nights. The main dining area felt hectic, and I struggled to find a relaxing spot at times. On two occasions, water seemed to cover the floor near the pool area, and it presented a slipping hazard. The entertainment staff did a great job engaging with guests, but I noticed a few staff members who didn’t seem very approachable. The evenings were filled with options, but smoking was prevalent in some areas, which wasn’t pleasant. Despite some hiccups, I had a good time overall, and the location made it easy to explore Salou.

Had a blast on our group vacation! The venue's pool with slides was a hit, and there was plenty of space to sunbathe under palm trees. Loved checking out the marina with its lively nightlife, flamenco shows, and music. Lots of fun activities, and the animation team kept the kids entertained. Great place to unwind after hitting the slopes.

One friend had issues with cold vegetables at dinner, but it didn't ruin our fun overall.

It was just a fitting option for spending a night in Salou with exceptional value. I enjoyed the fresh baguettes available every day, which were a nice touch. Arrive early at the dining room to avoid long queues.

the air conditioning had a bad smell after a few days. but the splash park was super fun for the kids! ! the staff at the bar were really helpful! the beds in our room were comfy, leading to good sleep!
